MASTER CONTROL OPERATOR
KDVR Fox 31 / KWGN CW2 is looking for an experienced television Master Control Operator to join our team of broadcast professionals. If you have at least two years of experience in television Master Control operations at a commercial television station, we're interested in talking to you.
The ideal candidate has experience with broadcast automation systems (Louth, Crispin, etc.), and has knowledge of applicable FCC rules and regulations governing television broadcasters including transmitter operations, EAS requirements and logging.
The successful candidate has demonstrated experience with the following tasks: Commercial broadcast operations including prepping syndicated programming, running commercial breaks during newscasts and high-value network sports programming, and handling weather emergencies in a broadcast facility.
This Master Control opening is an hourly position. Our television operations run 24x7, which means the successful candidate will be able to work any of three shifts plus weekends and holidays, and occasional overtime.
